Novo Nordisk is withdrawing Mixtard 30 from the market by 31 December 2010. This may affect some of your patients and to help you to make an informed choice about which insulin to transfer them onto. We would stress that you ensure that your patients are aware that any change in the type of insulin used may result in changes in their blood glucose management and may increase the risk of hypoglycaemia.
